Issue: Server disk consumption high but no consumption found on traversing the filesystem for usage

Description and Fix:-

Simply doing rm output.log removes only references to the file,
but it continues to occupy space on disk as it is still open in another process
and will not free up space until the concerned process is terminated.
But due to rm'ing, the file consuming the space won't be visible and neither we will get to know which process has opened it.

Below are some options to get the list of such files.

lsof | grep deleted

lsof -nP | grep '(deleted)'

lsof -nP +L1

check the concerned service and restart it.
